But not in Nebraska. Only here does the kicker command so much attention.
• Heard: “Our intensity's turned up every day. … When you walk out on the field, you walk out here with one thing in mind. That's to get better and let it all hang out. Our team has done a good job of that so far.” — coach Bo Pelini
• Rested: The Huskers finally had an off day Sunday after practicing nine times since the beginning of camp Aug. 7. The players weren't completely fresh, but they were a bit more energized Monday, according to Pelini.
• Up next: Practice No. 12 is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. It's one of nine sessions this week.
