    Q&A with kicker Adi Kunalic

Nebraska coach Bo Pelini on Monday put to rest any questions about the possible redshirting of the senior kicker. With All-America candidate Alex Henery handling field-goal and punting duties, it appears that Kunalic will again be limited to kickoffs. He produced 29 touchbacks a season ago, giving the Huskers the third-best total in the country. The 6-foot, 190-pound Kunalic, out of Fort Worth, Texas, has kicked in every game of his NU career. He made his only field-goal attempt, a 47-yarder against Nevada in 2007.

Q: If you could take only one thing with you on a road trip, what would it be?
A: My cell phone. I'd feel lost without it.

Q: Did you watch LeBron James' decision? Thoughts?
A: Wow. Really? Why make the biggest spectacle about it? It's just another one of those things. We'll see what happens this year, and we can judge from there.

Q: What is your favorite non-sports show?
A: Pretty much anything on Showtime. I watch everything. From “Dexter” to “Weeds,” it's all pretty good.

Q: Who is the best-dressed player on this team?
A: Me, obviously. Just playing. A lot of guys just wear shorts and stuff to class. I've never really been the guy to do that, though, for whatever reason. I like to look a little nicer.

Q: There's some real confidence and excitement around this team. Is the hype accurate?
A: The thing is, all the credit we've gotten we've gotten for a reason. That's all I can really say.

Q: What are the strengths of this group?
A: We've got something different. This is the first year when I've felt there was an actual bond through the entire team that wasn't really pushed by the coaches.
