Seen: Offensive lineman Jermarcus Hardrick, not wearing pads, sipped from a Gatorade bottle on the sideline at Tuesday's practice. He had left the Hawks Center in an ambulance after Monday's session because of heat-related issues.
Not seen: Coach Bo Pelini said over the weekend that one member of the team's 105-man roster was sick and wouldn't participate in preseason camp until his health improved. That player has yet to be identified by the NU staff.
Heard: “You just feel way better than being out there in the heat. You're having fun playing, instead of thinking how much water you're going to douse all over yourself when you get to the sideline.” — sophomore linebacker Will Compton, discussing the differences in practicing inside the Hawks Center instead of under the scorching sun.
Up next: The Huskers will conduct their fifth practice of camp Wednesday. They're expected to wear full pads for the first time.
