Suh in Nebraska Hall of Fame

LINCOLN — Ndamukong Suh won't have to wait long to go into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame.

The former Husker defensive tackle, who completed his college career last season, on Thursday was announced as one of seven former NU players set for induction. Because he is heading into his rookie season with the Detroit Lions, Suh will be formally honored upon his availability.

Induction and award ceremonies for the others will be Sept. 10 at Memorial Stadium, with recognition Sept. 11 before the Nebraska-Idaho game.

Other former NU players going into the hall will be Bob Pickens, Ed Periard, Steve Lindquist, Chris Spachman, Todd Millikan, Dan Alexander and Carlos Polk.

Inductees from the state college level will be Mike Sallier of Doane and Noland Urban of Nebraska Wesleyan.
