LINCOLN — Nebraska’s Niles Paul was ordered to pay a $400 fine Friday in Lancaster County Court after the senior receiver pleaded guilty to the minor consumption charge stemming from a May incident.
Police ticketed Paul in downtown Lincoln early on May 28, citing the 20-year-old for minor consumption and urinating in public.
The urinating in public charge was dismissed Friday.
Husker coach Bo Pelini said earlier this month that Paul, the Huskers’ leading receiver as a junior, would face an undisclosed internal punishment.
