11:02 a.m.: Rick Serritella, who puts together a publication called NFL Draft Bible, is going day-to-day with profiles of the seniors-to-be that he considers the top prospects for next year's draft.
Earlier this week he broke down Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara, who already has been getting plenty of attention as the college football magazines leak their preseason All-America teams.
Of note, though, is that Serritella lists Amukamara at No. 6 on his 2011 "big board" -- only behind Washington quarterback Jake Locker, Ohio State defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, Iowa defensive end Adrian Clayborn, Pittsburgh defensive end Greg Romeus and Boston College offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo.
Of Amukamara, Serritella writes: "The first-team All-Big 12 performer uses his exceptional size, burst, length, fluidity, quickness and instincts to get the job done. While he lacks top-notch long speed, Amukamara possesses exceptional footwork and quickness which, when combined with his stellar hip fluidity, gives him the ability to stop and go without losing momentum."
How does Nebraska stack up at the offensive skill positions? Better than most recent seasons, according to Serritella, who lists Roy Helu among his top 10 senior prospects at running back, Niles Paul among his 10 senior receivers and Mike McNeill among his five senior tight ends.
