8:16 p.m.: A trio of Nebraska players will be heading into their final football season with their degrees in hand.
Quarterback Zac Lee, offensive lineman D.J. Jones and defensive back Anthony West will be among nine current or former Husker football players — and 69 NU student-athletes overall — graduating Saturday morning during a ceremony at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Among the former Huskers will be John Reece, a cornerback who played his final season in 1993. Those graduating who completed their eligibility more recently will be Jacob Hickman, Wes Cammack, Chris Brooks, Shukree Barfield and Armando Murillo.
