A man and a woman were ticketed and four children were taken to a protective facility after authorities found them living with insufficient heat and no running water, according to a police report.
An anonymous tipster sent police to a house near 42nd Street and Larimore Avenue. When officers arrived, they found no water available at the home, and the family was using a space heater and an oven to warm the place.
A man, 32, and a woman, 30, were ticketed Thursday on suspicion of four counts of child neglect. The children, ages 5, 8, 7 and 11, were taken to Project Harmony.
