    Ehlers, Pritchard sign with NU

Two members of the 2009 All-Nebraska baseball team recently signed letters of intent to play at Nebraska.

Senior pitcher Logan Ehlers of Nebraska City and infielder Mike Pritchard of Omaha Creighton Prep will continue their baseball careers with the Huskers. Both had previously given oral commitments to NU coach Mike Anderson.

Ehlers, the most dominating pitcher in the state last season, went 10-0 with an 0.20 ERA. He struck out 161 batters and walked just 16 while throwing four no-hitters and one perfect game.

Pritchard, who set a Prep school record for home runs last spring with eight, batted .450 and drove in 49. The senior also was the top hitter on Prep’s American Legion squad last summer, batting .407.
