    Washington State scouting report: KiKi Moore is coming off a 17-point, seven-steal and six-assist performance in Friday's 70-63 loss at Kansas State. The freshman leads the team in scoring (17.0). ... Guards April Cook and Jazmine Perkins are a combined 5-for-26 from 3-point range this year. ... The Pac-10 coaches picked Washington State to finish sixth in the conference's preseason poll. WSU tied for eighth last year.

    NU scouting report: Nebraska has shot better than 40 percent in all three games this year and is averaging 46.2 percent. The Huskers made just 39.4 percent of their field goals last season. ... Senior Kelsey Griffin is a perfect 10-for-10 from the field in the Devaney Center. She missed three field goals at UNLV. ... Off the bench, sophomore Catheryn Redmon has a team-high eight blocks despite averaging just 19.7 minutes per game.

    Opening tips: NU assistant coaches Sunny Smallwood and Kellie Lewis-Jay both served under coach June Daugherty at Washington. Daughterty took over the WSU program in 2007. ... Nebraska has defeated the Cougars in both of the teams' meetings this decade, the last win coming in 2004.
