Ndamukong Suh says he did not fake the injury that caused an official timeout in the final minutes Saturday against Oklahoma.
Speculation existed that Suh fell to the turf in an attempt to stop play after Alfonzo Dennard re-aggravated a shoulder injury during Oklahoma's second-to-last offensive series. Play was stopped, and both players left, though Suh returned after one play.
"I was actually cramping," Suh said today. "You can speculate all you want, but I actually had cramps."
Earlier, in response to a question about playing more than 80 plays on defense, Suh said he was not tired.
"I don't feel I was exhausted at all," he said. "I felt like I could still play another quarter, quarter and a half."
Confusing, but probably not worth much more investigation.
