    Another crazy Saturday

OK, raise your hand if you predicted Nebraska would lose at Memorial Stadium to Iowa State and then beat Oklahoma.

Go figure, right? It's been that kind of season in the Big 12 – and college football in general.

Anyway, here the Huskers sit at 6-3 when most people would have predicted finishes of anywhere between 7-5 and 9-3. They close with Kansas on the road, Kansas State at home and Colorado on the road. Honestly, you could see just about anything happening.

To boil it down, NU must beat K-State on Nov. 21 and win one of its two other games to play in the Big 12 championship game, Dec. 5 in Arlington, Texas.

After the 10-3 Nebraska win tonight, coach Bo Pelini refused to call it his biggest win at NU.

"It's just one win,'' Pelini said. "This game means nothing if we don't come back and go to Lawrence and take care of business next weekend.

"I told our football team that this game is over. Enjoy tonight, but be careful because I think the town might get turned upside down tonight."
