John Mayer
One of the guitar gods is coming back to Omaha.
No, not Eric Clapton or Jimmy Page or Slash.
John Mayer — dubbed one of the “new guitar gods” by Rolling Stone — will perform at 8 p.m. March 4 at Qwest Center Omaha.
Mayer last performed here in 2007. This time, the guitarist and singer will be touring to support his new album, “Battle Studies,” which will be released Nov. 17. A single, “Who Says,” has already been receiving radio play.
Also on Nov. 17, catch the guitarist perform in “John Mayer Live From the Beacon Theatre” at 8 p.m. on the Fuse cable network.
Tickets for his Omaha performance, $66 and $46, go on sale Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Qwest Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com and by phone at 800-745-3000.
