LINCOLN — Police say a 30-year-old woman used her sister’s name at a Lincoln hospital to get a prescription for pain medication.
The possibility of a ruse arose when the woman’s sister went to BryanLGH Medical Center East the next day for treatment.
Staffers asked her about being there the day before. She denied being there, so police were notified about the possible impersonation.
Officers went to the apartment of Crystal Quiring to talk, then took her in for questioning. She was arrested on suspicion of possessing a false or forged prescription.
Police said Quiring had used a prescription from a doctor at the hospital to obtain the medicine from a pharmacy.
