    Green expects OU pressure

Filed by Rich Kaipust at 3:28 p.m.

Nebraska quarterback Cody Green isn't naïve when it comes to realizing Oklahoma knows that he's an 18-year-old freshman with one career start to his name.

"I think they'll try to come after me a lot, just because of age and the inexperience of big games and stuff like that,'' Green said. "That's really what any defensive coordinator would do. Just try to bring the house on me, try to change things up, show me things I haven't seen on tape before.

"I just really have to rely on my instincts, the offense and the coaches to explain to me things on the field and off the field that really help me out.''

Oklahoma ranks second in the Big 12 with 27 sacks, led by Jeremy Beal with 8 ½. Nebraska has allowed just 10 sacks in eight games.

"They have great guys up front,'' Green said. "We've seen it on tape and our coaches have told us about them. It really helps having our D-line to go against. If our O-line can hold up to (Ndamukong) Suh and them, I think we have a heck of a chance of holding up against theirs.''
