Five things we learned, five things we still don't know

    FIVE THINGS WE LEARNED

    1. Nebraska has a situation developing at quarterback that could determine which way it goes from here.

    2. The Huskers still have huge problems with offensive penalties, particularly at inopportune times and in opposing territory.

    3. Phillip Dillard is starting to salvage what not long ago seemed to be a career on the downturn.

    4. Nebraska isn't the developing favorite in the Big 12 North that it appeared to be last week.

    5. Texas Tech might not necessarily be ready to be cast as a South Division also-ran, winning a rare road game against a Top 25 opponent.

FIVE THINGS WE STILL DON'T KNOW

    1. How much are the losses of Quentin Castille in August and Rex Burkhead last week going to be felt in the second half of the season?

    2. Not much got sorted out Saturday at I-back behind Roy Helu. Is this going to be an ongoing process?

    3. When or if the Huskers are able to develop a receiver who is reliable and productive on a regular basis.

    4. Why can't NU find a way to make better use of Mike McNeill, who has just six catches in the last four games?

    5. Whether it be execution or personnel, why isn't this team able to control the clock as the Huskers did a year ago?
