Ashland fills school board vacancy

ASHLAND — Karen Stille has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Ashland-Greenwood school board.

Stille, a rural Ashland resident and mother of three, was one of three people who indicated interest in filling the seat vacated last month by Dave Lutton.

Lutton resigned from the board after he was appointed to the Saunders County Board.

Stille will fill the remainder of Lutton's term, which ends in January 2011. She was appointed at the school board's Monday meeting.
