CVS pharmacy is making changes to its proposal for access to its planned Bellevue store at Harlan Drive and Galvin Road.
After a proposed entry-exit linking the site to Pelton Avenue raised concerns from neighbors, CVS made a change that allows an entry-only access road from Pelton.
The latest plans, submitted by Orange Development to the Bellevue Planning Department, retain an entry-exit at both Harlan and Galvin Roads.
After initially planning to close the access that exists from Galvin Road to the former Krispy Kreme location, CVS has decided to keep that open and limit the access on Pelton.
According to the plans submitted to the city, CVS still would widen Pelton to three lanes at Galvin Road. The plans also still call for demolition of the four houses closest to Galvin on the south side of Pelton.
Company officials declined to comment until Monday’s public hearing before the City Council. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
