    NU Star

Zac Lee didn't seem bothered by his injured left thumb or that disappointing performance last weekend. The junior quarterback completed 15 of his 18 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown.

    Highlight

It looked like a swing pass, but the box score recorded it as a run. Either way, Roy Helu gained 39 yards on the first quarter toss from Zac Lee. And if not for a collision with a teammate, Helu might have scored on that play.

    Busted Play

Lee and Helu botched their handoff exchange on the offense's first drive, a fumble that resulted in a loss of 2 yards. The Huskers couldn't recover. The drive stalled two plays later.

    Our Take

Nebraska was noticeably aggressive from the start as Lee lofted several passes downfield, testing the backside of the ULL defense. Those plays didn't always have direct results, but they seemed to open things up underneath. Really, the Huskers operated much of the game with little resistance — even in the red zone. They scored four touchdowns on their four trips inside the 20. — Jon Nyatawa
