A Malvern, Iowa, couple were arrested on suspicion of child neglect after their 5-month-old baby was left alone in a car for about 15 minutes while the parents were inside a west Omaha bar, police said.
The incident, reported about 8:40 p.m. Friday, occurred outside the Reel Martini Bar near 168th and West Dodge Road.
The baby, a little girl, was placed in protective custody after the incident.
