About the movie

“Into Temptation” is Omaha native Patrick Coyle’s film about an inner-city Catholic priest and a suicidal prostitute. It stars Broadway and television actress Kristin Chenoweth and Jeremy Sisto of TV’s “Law and Order.”

The film opened three weeks ago in Coyle’s adopted hometown of Minneapolis, where it was filmed. It was supposed to have a one-week run, but it’s still showing.

The film is booked through Thursday at Omaha’s Dundee Theater. Then it is scheduled to be shown in theaters in Fargo, N.D., and Duluth, Minn. Details of a New York booking were being worked out.

Coyle hopes continued good response will lead to wider distribution for the film, which is scheduled for a DVD release on Oct. 27.
