“Generations in the Workplace Mini Seminar” will be at Metropolitan Community College, 835 N. Broad St., in Fremont, Neb., from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Learn about the force

Apply by Sunday for a spot in the Community Education Training Program, which provides an overview of the Omaha Police Department.

The free program aims to give citizens a better understanding of what police officers do and help build a stronger relationship between police and community.

To participate, contact Ofelia Robles at 444-7743 or orobles@ci.omaha.ne.us or complete an application at the southeast precinct at 25th and Vinton Streets.

The classes will be at the precinct from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on four consecutive Mondays, beginning Sept. 28.
