Position: Linebacker
Class: Sophomore
Height, weight: 6-1, 215
Hometown (school): Imperial, Neb. (Chase County)
Notable: May clocked a 10.8-second 100-meter dash in high school.
Q: How fast would your 100 be now?
A: I’ve put on a little weight, but I think I’m faster than I was in high school. I feel faster.
Q: Got a time in mind?
A: No idea. I’m not Usain Bolt. I don’t know what it’d be.
Q: What’s your favorite among team volunteer activities?
A: My biggest thing right now is we go to prison ministry. I’m really getting into that. It’s a neat experience.
Q: How would you describe or critique Ndamukong Suh’s running style on those interception returns last year?
A: I wouldn’t say graceful. I would say he’s just kind of like a bulldozer. He’s a good, even speed, so I don’t think anything’s going to bring him down.
Q: How many teammates could point to Imperial on a map of Nebraska?
A: Not many. I don’t even know if some of my closest buddies would get close. Probably less than a handful.
Q: Do you replay any games or plays in your head from last year?
A: The biggest would probably be my first play against Kansas State. If I was paying attention a little more, I was hoping to get that interception on that blitz. That kind of bugs me.
