• Position: Kicker, punter

Q: How much more are you recognized this year?
A: A lot. It's pretty crazy. It's definitely a lot more than last year. I didn't get a whole lot before this year.
Q: Do you like it? Or just deal with it?
A: There's the goods and the bads of it. It's OK, though.
Q: Lots of autographs?
A: Yeah. It's not bad. It's a lot of little kids, and I like kids, so I don't really mind.
Q: Do people ask you about the kick against Colorado a lot?
A: It's usually the thing that gets brought up. And it's usually their story of where they were at that time when it happened. So I pretty much know everyone in Nebraska's story of where they were at. Just about everybody.
Q: How much did you punt last year?
A: I would probably punt four balls before practice, just messing around. Not very much at all.
Q: What's the biggest adjustment to punting?
A: It's pretty much just keeping my leg fresh, doing the things I need to to stay strong.
Q: How do you keep your leg fresh?
A: Cold tubs. And making sure I'm not messing around and just kicking a thousand times at practice. I'm doing it for a reason.
Q: At one time you thought about going to Creighton for soccer. Do you ever think about how different life might be had you done that?
A: They're pretty good. They're rated No. 2, so that would be pretty cool. But I'm pretty happy with where I'm at right now.
Q: Do you still play soccer?
A: A little bit. A little indoor, but not too much.
