SIDNEY, Neb. (AP) — A former Sidney teacher who was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy will be sentenced in September.
After an agreement with prosecutors, 38-year-old Todd Nienhueser pleaded no contest to two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
He was arrested on Dec. 23 after Sidney police found him with the 16-year-old.
An arrest affidavit said Nienhueser met the boy on an Internet site last summer, and the two soon began a sexual relationship. The boy was 15 at the time.
Nebraska law prohibits people 19 or older from having sex with those under 16.
The Sidney school district fired him in January.
