Adams County crash kills one, injures one

A Friday evening accident in rural Adams County killed one man and sent another to a Lincoln hospital.

Terry Borrell, 39, of Glenvil, was driving west in his 1997 Chevy pickup when he was hit by a southbound Ford sedan driven by 45-year-old Marcus Jones of Nelson. The accident occurred at the corner of Pawnee and Sundown, two county roads southeast of Hastings.

Borrell died at the scene. Jones was treated at a local hospital then flown to Lincoln for further treatment.
