Crash critically injures Omahan

An Omaha man who was critcally injured in an early morning crash in Bellevue has been cited for traffic violations.

Andrew Duley, 21, was driving west in a 2000 Chevy Blazer on Laplatte Road near Highway 75 at 2:27 a.m. when he ran a red light, according to the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office. The front end of his Blazer collided with the driver's side door of a 2007 Ford F150.

Ruth Goff, 47, of Union, Neb., was driving the Ford, according to Lt. Kevin Griger, of the Sarpy County Sheriff's office. She was treated at the scene.

Duley was flown by helicopter to the Creighton Medical Center in critical condition. His injuries are not considered life threatening, according to Griger. A passenger in the Blazer, Jennifer Connerly of Omaha, also was taken to the hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.

Duley was cited for violating a traffic signal and suspicion of driving under the influence.
